Live carrier tracking

Track the shipment.
Keep the whole event chain.

Look up ocean shipments without reducing the result to one ETA. See containers, vessel movements, terminal details, releases, and the other milestones supplied by the carrier.

Track shipments with supported carriers

We’re starting with MSC and adding more ocean carriers over time. Each carrier page explains which reference to use and shows the shipment updates available for that carrier.

Tell us where to send tracking updates as support for each new carrier becomes available.

How it works

One lookup, every carrier milestone

01

Enter the carrier reference

Use the reference type supported by the carrier page. MSC currently accepts bill of lading numbers.

02

Get the latest carrier updates

Melrose collects the containers, locations, vessel details, and milestones available for the shipment.

03

Read the complete timeline

Review completed and estimated milestones together, with the carrier’s original event descriptions intact.

Tracking data

More useful than a single ETA

Carrier-native locations

Raw terminal and port names stay attached to events. When supplied or confidently mapped, the result also includes UN/LOCODE, SMDG, BIC, and US Customs FIRMS codes.

Estimated stays estimated

Completed, estimated, and planned milestones remain distinct, so an expected arrival is never presented as something that already happened.

All linked containers

A bill of lading may resolve to multiple containers. Each event retains its equipment references so timelines can be understood at shipment and container level.

Fresh results without unnecessary waiting

Recent results are saved briefly so repeat lookups return faster. When a result gets old, Melrose requests a fresh carrier update.

Need tracking inside your operation?

Melrose connects carrier events to the freight workflows your team already runs.
